I find it somewhat funny that of all our little group, I am the one who is far away and yet I am still the one who updates this the most...guess I really am the writer out of all of us...I do miss Lethy and all my artsy friends with their vintage clothing and different colored hair. I miss the typs of movies that you like to watch with me and the music that you listen to...the foods that we like to eat and going to the art gallery and watching art movies...*sigh* I miss youall and can't wait to be home again.
Yesterday we got a new slot host and I was asked to "train" her. I was so happy to teach her. When I first came here and I was being taught I thought that the system was awful and that people really didn't give you much information at all, or when they did give you information it was not clear. I felt like I did a good job because theis new girl, Leticia, seemed comfortable with everything that I was telling her. Tonight I am going to get her to do some of the work now and we will see how good she does. She is a very happy girl, from Mexico City and she obviously speaks Spanish. She is already a vital part of our team because of that! I was trying to tell some kids last night that they needed to leave the casino unless they were 18, and then she told them to get out in Spanish. It was a great night last night! She talked to a lot of the guests and told them all about the casino in Spanish. I love her for that already...There was also another lady who gave me two $50 tips. Now, if only those were for me and not to be split...oh well. It is a GREAT start to the week!
