After some shopping I came back to the boat and spend a little time lounging on Deck 4 forward (I think that I have the lingo down), then back outside. This time I went out for an early dinner with Paul (a British Supervisor in the Casino who signed on the exact same day that I did). I took him out for a late 34th birthday dinner. Paul left me to go back to the boat where I proceeded to wander again. I eventually headed back to the boat and went to my room to read my bible and pray. I almost feel asleep wile doing so, but that is what I get for only having 6 hours of sleep last night (I went to the crew bar for drinks and sat around chatting very early into the morning). I decided after reading that I should get up (by this time my cabin mate was making a lot of noise and was getting ready for work while it is my night off!) and have a little something to eat so I was not starving later. In the staff mess there were a couple of my friends so we sat around and chatted. It was the first time that I was not rushing to eat and it was the first time that there were not very many people in the mess while I was there. It was a nice feeling to be honest...so Micheal (Canadian technician who I get along great with...he's 40 and he makes me laugh so hard all the time because he is such a geek) and his girl friend came in and were eating. We moved over to their table chatted some more and then everyone pretty much left because they needed to go to work soon. Micheal is on late shift and we were still in port so the two of us decided to go for a walk on the outside. As per usual my tummy started hurting because I was laughing so hard from Micheal's geekyness...He is your typical Canadian...the kind we make fun of on 'airfarce' and shows like that. One day I will devote a whole entry to him just because there is so much that I could tell you about him. We have gotten to be really good friends....Anyways, we ended up walking through one casino and then we walked some more and walked into another one. We for some reason sat down to play at a penny machine and a nickel machine. I played 3 dollars on the penny then moved over to a nickel where I won $50.60 and I only had put in two. I, being the smart money person that I am, cashed out and took the money. It was a nice feeling. I played a few more dollars (8 in total) and walked away with 50...all in all it was a win for me. Such a nice feeling.
Now I am off to do something fun. I don't know what, but it should be good. Until next time my fellow friends.
I pitty you in your coldness.
